The Institute Of Physics, Bhubaneswar is an autonomous research institution funded jointly by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and the Government of Orissa. The research activity in IOP Institute centres on the areas of theoretical and experimental condensed matter Physics, Nuclear Physics and High Energy Physics.

The candidates must be M.Sc. Physics with minimum 55% marks aggregate and GATE qualifiers with minimum score of 95 percentile and having current validity or CSIR / UGC NET qualifiers ( for research fellowship ) within last One Year.

Written Test 23 May, 2011
Personal Interview between 23 May, 2011 to 25 May, 2011

Application forms will be available on the official website and the candidates also get the application form directly from the institute.
The candidates must send the filled application forms with entire documents to the official address.

Selection Procedure:
Selection of the candidate is based on the personal interview and written test of the candidate. The candidate selection is also based on the rules and regulation of the Institute of Physics (IOP).
